  • I enjoy puzzles, and Springbok is a good brand.

  • Have you read the book?

  • @ata_grandma - . I've been busy doing puzzles and this one is my ninth one. When they are completed, I post them on FB. It's been fun, but I have other impt things to do, so I'm going to take a break from them. I agree with you ... Springbok is definitely the best. Thanks for coming by.

  • @JstNotherDay - . I have no idea what you are referring to ......?

  • @RaZeHeLL - Louisa May Alcott's book, An Old Fashioned Girl. I guess you have not read it.

  • Oh... and I love doing jigsaw puzzles too. I find them a good way to relax while still being occupied.

  • @JstNotherDay -  you got that right! I'm quite sure I would like it though.

  • @JstNotherDay -  Yes, I agree. I have tons stored in the garage ... Can hardly wait to go through them, but right now I have other things that need to be done.

  • :sunny: Hello my dear friend! This is beautiful ... reminds me of old post cards I see at the antique malls! And I would love to read that book myself! Well, I'm back on Xanga again, at least for the time that is left! I've been looking through my messages, saving all the special ones, and visiting around, but not many are left who are on my list! :( I want to reconnect with as many as I can before the Xanga that we've come to know and love, turns it's lights out! I will miss it here ... even though I haven't been very faithful to it, still, knowing it won't be here, as well as my list of friends, is sad to think about! I read that you are staying 'till the end' ... so too, will I, but I have set up a site just in case things don't work out for Xanga. If you'd like to follow me there, let me know and I'll share the link with you. I'm so glad I met you here, and that we're still in close touch on Facebook ... I have missed 'blogging', though and I think this new site of mine will be a new beginning for me ... I'm actually kind of excited about a second chance, and 'beginning again'! I hope you'll continue blogging, too ... I've always been encouraged by what you've shared! I hope more decide to continue on somewhere ... I want to keep all those who have meant so much to me, close in these 'last days'! I plan on posting here soon, but just don't have all my thoughts together to say how much all the friendship and prayers have meant to me over the years, especially considering that I 'fell away' from Xanga for a long while! Most of the 'closer' ones are now with me on Facebook, which I am truly grateful for! Regrets?! You bet!! Reading through my messages, I feel so guilty about not being a better friend, and keeping in closer touch with those who are still here! Like I said, I'm thankful for second chances! You have a blessed Independence Day, Carolyn. Hope to hear from you soon!

    Blessings to you, my friend!
